Good investment. Has saved me many times on my Curve 8900. And I guess this works on the the Storm and Tour also, so even if you switch devices down the road it will likely come in handy.
Still up in the air on this one

Ok, so I purchased this battery along with the external charger in crackberrys package deal. The battery works, but it appears physically damaged on the outside. (Cosmetic damage) I called in and spoke with a rep and he assured me that the battery is new, not used. He said that this is the way they receive the batteries directly from BlackBerry. Soooo, with that being said, IDK what to believe. The main thing is that it works, so I marked it down a star due to the fact that I had to even question whether or not it is new.
Works well, but obviously used.

It works really well, just as I expected...except...I has marks on it that only indicates previous use, along with some sort of subtstance that I dare not ask what it is/was looks to be formerly something that was slimey that dried up. I did not call to confirm that they sent me a used one because I know the answer already after reading a similar review, as well as the product still works fine.

Battery is replaceable and cheap
Cons:
Doesnt hold enough power to an active day
With this battery I surf 10 sites, listen to stereo bluetooth and text maybe 20 times before the battery goes dead in early afternoon.
For $20 more get the Seidio Innocell 2600mAh Extended Battery for BlackBerry Storm.
