I tried two other adapters and they didnt work. This one works fine.
It works. What more do you want?

Pros: It works.
Cons: Its not free.
It works, exactly as youd expect. It is a little pricier than ones which dont work, but what else would you expect in 2009.
why not sell one without the cord?

Pros: does what it is supposed to do
Cons: the short wire will break sooner or later.
I replace one or two of these every year, and I always try to keep one as a spare. Sooner or later the cord between the two connectors will break somewhere. The cord into the headset connector end is not glued, only has a knot inside, so it might spin and damage the wires over time. I wish they would make a 90degree connector without the wire, would be less prone to breaking.
Order Shipping Error
User: arthur holt, Apr 1, 2011
Pros: Product totally satisfactory
Cons: Order fulfillment required to orders and product return
I have ordered from you several times...this time the shipment paperwork correctly reflected the item that I had ordered, but the item in the package was actually the opposite (ie, 2.5mm..not 3.5mm) from what I had ordered. Your customer service rep, looking just at the paperwork, could not see that the problem was an accidental error in the shipping department.
My option was to return the original for credit..then to re-order as a separate transactiion.
All is well, and thanks for asking!
It works until it breaks.

Pros: Excellent fit and works well.
Cons: Wiring breaks
I have owned 3 of these in the past 6 months. The wires break, usually near the connection to my Blackberry Curve 8530, and looking at the wires, they are very thin and numerous. I find $10 plus shipping to be exceedingly expensive for the length of the product. I am unable to wear a Bluetooth-type headset so use an over-the-head headset which, unfortunately, has a jack that fits all other phones I have owned except this Blackberry.
I must say Im very disappointed in this product. Having been in the medical transcription business for 30 years, Ive worn many headsets. One companys new "stereo" headset used for a transcriber had the same breakdown due to the thin wiring that simply could not stand daily use.
I would be willing to pay more for a headset adapter that lasted at least a year, and I know that the product wiring could be improved.
