Like all BlackBerry brand cases (not including skins of course!), the leather holster features a magnet that puts your BlackBerry into sleep mode when inserted into the case, conserving battery life and eliminating accidentally key presses. This also allows you to take advantage of the "Out of Holster" and "In Holster" profile settings on your BlackBerry, allowing you to set different alerts/tones/volume levels for each.

Cons: Clip could be tighter...

I wanted a pearl case from Telus, but they had a sale, so they threw in a rubber skin, now with that on my berry, it would not fit. So I got the Curve case! Now my berry is safe and clean and somewhat drop resistant. I love this case.

I kept my BB in this holster for a year and am now keeping my new BB in it and I have no complaints. Not only is it stylish and the leather oh so soft, but it has protected my Pearls better than any other case Ive gotten for other phones. Ive never had any problems with the clip or ever thought that it might break. I suspect Ill have to buy a new phone before Ill need to replace this case.

After 20 months of heavy use, the fabric that holds the flap magnet has a hole worn into, but the magnet has not fallen out yet. I thought it had last night, but was pleasantly surprise to find that it had slid into the flap where it was hidden.
Overall a very good case and I came to this sight to purchase a replacement. $20 for 20 months is not a bad deal!

This is probably the best holster I have found. It is very stylish and comfortable to wear on your belt. BUT, I had the same problem as the other rater. I sat down in a chair and got the holster caught on the arm rest and it snapped the clip off. So what am I going to do? I am ordering 2 of them and keep one as a spare. I recommend it but be carefull!

Who would have thought than an OEM Holster could be so good. Dont be surprised, RIM (Blackberry) has the best Holsters in the industry. The build quality is outstanding. The lambskin used is absolutely beautiful. It fits the phone well, it rides on your belt well, and it looks good. The ONLY down-side I have found is that the Belt clip is not as durable as I would like. I have broken them when getting into a car and caught them on the way to sitting down.
