Pros: alows me to place the phone in my pocket and not worry abut scratching it with other stuff in my pocket.
Cons: just a little slower to answer the phone, (have to take it out of case first)

when i set the phone on top of the back of the case, like when on the table at home, it places the phone in standby (truns off the outer sreen) saving battery life.

It is what it is. While in my possession it was easy to use, not a hindrance at all. I just wish it had not left the house without telling me.
