Product Description

Smartly designed, this leather horizontal case with a built in pocket inside, will allow you to carry most BlackBerry, business cards and cash.

The pouch case includes a magnetic proximity sensor built in which will determine if your BlackBerry is in the case and will shut off the screen to save battery life and also let you choose notification settings for incoming calls and other functions.

Inside the case, you will find built-in grooves constructed of durable, hard plastic which run along the front and back of the case to protect the trackball and the large, secure magnetic flip cover will keep your Blackberry safe and secure in the case.

Time and time again, I have tested numerous accessories. Though I have found some excellent carrying solutions, I can�t help but find myself drawn to BlackBerry branded cases. Perhaps it�s the knowledge that BlackBerry knows how to make a case. I�m always seen with my BlackBerry nestled into its holster, clipped to either my belt or pant pocket.

Geat Case not holster

Pros: Nice leather case with great fit, finish and protection

I got this case (not holster) for my GF and she loves it. She wanted something that didnt look too geeky but retain a professional appearance.

After searching awhile for the perfect case, this is the one I choose in the black and tan. I do not like the looks of a phone hanging on a belt and this one is wonderful. It is large enough to hold my 8310 in the case WITH the rubberized skin on it yet is easy to remove from case when you need to get a call quickly. The phone is well protected and looks classy at all times.

Perfect Carrying Solution

I carry a 8830 for personal use and a Curve for work. I hate the "tool belt" look but i wanted to keep the other blackberry protected. This is the perfect solution....durable, sleek, and you can keep a credit card and cash all in home. Perect for travelers. A definant must have for BB users.

Kind of misleading

I bought this case simply for all-around protection for my curve. It serves that purpose well. The proximity-sensing circuit is great too. The only complain I have, it says "store credit cards" but the case specifically indicates no credit cards because of the magnetic strip used in the proximity sensing circuit. This part is mis-leading, it should not be used for credit card carrying. Other than that, the case is great for carrying your phone.

Deceptive Description

I dont own this case...and the reason is, that although the case is billed as a "side case", it has no belt-clip to mount horizontally/laterally on ones belt...like any other case that calls itself a "side case" on the market. To me, the name of the case is totally deceptive...and some will buy it and be disappointed.

With only a wrist strap...the case is only good for men to carry in their pockets (not many manly men will use a wrist-strap), or for women to carry in their purses.

Im sure its a well built case...but the name is misleading.
