The BlackBerry Leather Sleeve for the BlackBerry PlayBook is a pretty sweet case overall. I've become a fan of the "naked" PlayBook, so I like cases that I can just carry my tablet with that still allow me to use it in its natural form. The BlackBerry Leather Sleeve protects the device well and is super sturdy all around. It has that familiar leather design of the leather pocket pouch, so if you're a pouch user with your phone, now you can have a PlayBook case to match. Overall this is a no frills case that just gets the job done.

Perfect case for me

Pros: PB slides easily into case, doesnt add much bulk
Cons: none

I carry my PB in my purse so I need to have it protected but I dont like extra bulk and weight on my PB. I like the look and feel of the PB, and I only want a case on it when it is not in use. This is a classy look and great protection. Perfect case for the way I use my PB.

Pros: fits perfectly
Cons: smell is a tad loud

The neoprene stretchy case that comes with the Playbook is nice enough, but I find it hard to get my PB in and out. Having nearly dropped it a time or two, I decided to opt for the leather sleeve instead. I really like it, the fit is perfect, it looks great, and it is stiff and padded enough to offer some protection.

My only complaint is that it has a rather strong odor, and I strongly suspect (no pun intended) that letting it sit out for a few days will take care of that minor problem.

BTW, the metal Berry symbol looks hot.
