Simply slide your smartphone into the form-fitted cradle at the front. Your BlackBerry Bluetooth Headset fits into the circular charger right behind the device. An extra battery fits into the mini Extra Battery Charger at the rear of the BlackBerry Power Station. The Blackberry Power Station has nothing to do with dodgy 1980s supergroups, but is a great way to recharge your BlackBerry, BlackBerry HS-655 Bluetooth headset and extra battery simultaneously with one sleek desktop unit. The BlackBerry Power Station is a simple but effective accessory from Research in Motion which not only powers up your Berry and accessories but also gives you easy access to the device�s hands-free functions. While I tried the Power Station for the BlackBerry Curve, RIM also offers the product for both the BlackBerry Pearl and BlackBerry 8800 series smartphones at the same price.

This innovative, sturdy and well thought out design marks the BlackBerry Power Station as one of those accessories that once you have had it around the office for a few days it becomes an indispensable tool you can no longer live without. I love that I can glance at the unit to see who is calling me and can call totally hands free with my headset and the Berry nestled in the cradle. It is also a great thing to basically have your BlackBerry charged all the time and have a central place to keep all your BlackBerry goodies in. And finally, it�s definitely the easiest way to charge a spare battery� no more having to swap batteries out of the BlackBerry to charge up the spare � that reason alone makes this a must the BlackBerry Power Station a must-have accessory for the BlackBerry user.

Stylish Charging Cradle

Pros: Ease of use and extra battery charger
Cons: Cost

This OEM cradle has a nice viewing angle for your Blackberry and looks great with a flat black finish and Blackberry logo on the base. It has non-skid rubber feet so it stays put on your desk or counter. Easy tilt in and tilt out for placing and removal of your Blackberry into the charger. The QWERTY keyboard is easily accessible for making calls and operating the device while in the cradle. I would recommend this power station.

A great charger that charges two batteries at a time while holding my Crackberry at a comfortable angle for use while charging.

Pros: Looks great on my desk, connects to computer, extra slot for 2nd battery, Very Handy
Cons: Charging contacts do not always touch my 8830 correctly, leaving me with an uncharged battery.

when I place my phone in the cradle, the metal charging contacts on the side of the cradle do not always touch my phone just right. Leaving me with an uncharged phone. Unless I tinker around with it, it will not stay charging, leaving you quite disappointed after you leave it charging for an hour or so just to find you still have a dead battery. Thats when having 2 batteries comes in handy
