The BlackBerry Power Station holds your smartphone firmly in place while providing full access to the keyboard and side buttons. Call home or dial into a conference call using the speakerphone functionality of most BlackBerry. Like other BlackBerry chargers, the BlackBerry Power Station is engineered with constant current and constant voltage technology to provide consistent, reliable power, maximize battery life and allow for safe and consistent charge times.

While most BlackBerry charges, you can sync it with your computer wirelessly via Bluetooth (or with a BlackBerry USB cable).

The Blackberry Power Station has nothing to do with dodgy 1980s supergroups, but is a great way to recharge your BlackBerry, BlackBerry HS-655 Bluetooth headset and extra battery simultaneously with one sleek desktop unit. The BlackBerry Power Station is a simple but effective accessory from Research in Motion which not only powers up your Berry and accessories but also gives you easy access to the device�s hands-free functions. While I tried the Power Station for the BlackBerry Curve, RIM also offers the product for both the BlackBerry Pearl and BlackBerry 8800 series smartphones at the same price.

This innovative, sturdy and well thought out design marks the BlackBerry Power Station as one of those accessories that once you have had it around the office for a few days it becomes an indispensable tool you can no longer live without. I love that I can glance at the unit to see who is calling me and can call totally hands free with my headset and the Berry nestled in the cradle. It is also a great thing to basically have your BlackBerry charged all the time and have a central place to keep all your BlackBerry goodies in. And finally, it�s definitely the easiest way to charge a spare battery� no more having to swap batteries out of the BlackBerry to charge up the spare � that reason alone makes this a must the BlackBerry Power Station a must-have accessory for the BlackBerry user.

Pros: Easy to use. Does the job.
Cons: A bit tricky to assemble

Its a pleasure to be able to slip my BlackBerry into it, charge it, and in the morning slip it out and back into its holster. Its keeping my spare battery charged too, but I still havent needed to use it.

Worth it even if you plan to upgrade. You can get a connector for a Bold, for instance, for $5-$10. Just pop off the Curve charger and pop on the bold one. The battery charger is modular too, so that can be swapped for one for a different battery.

Pros: Keeps everything in one uncluttered place.
Cons: I had to find something else to fill the two power outlets this freed up.

Holds and charges my Blackberry, an extra battery and my Jawbone headset at the same time in one uncluttered place using one power outlet. I sync using bluetooth so I need no other cables or connections.

You can charge a spare battery, your curve, and it has a USB port in the back so you can charge any other USB powered accessory all at the same time. I use the port in the back to charge my BlueAnt Z9 headset. To sync to the computer at the same time, I use a seperate USB connection directly into the Curve. This system reduced cable clutter and holds the BB very securely. Well worth the money
