thats so u can see the led light blinking. but blackberry product so quality build. would recommend.
Good quality case, but doesnt cover the entire phone.

I like the quality of the case, and it is an official BlackBerry product, not some 3rd party knockoff however, as shown in the picture, it leaves almost a half inch of the top of the phone out and unprotected. I was under the impression that it was only shown like that for the photo, not because it wouldnt fit completely inside.

I cannot understand why BlackBerry switched from a completely enclosed case design (stitched leather all the way around except for the top opening) to one of a piece of leather with elastic straps on both sides. The major problem with this pocket holster is that the device falls out too easily. Just turn it upside down and the phone slides out.
The tried and true design of the enclosed case (Bold, Curve, Storm) to this elastic side design is beyond my understanding. The enclosed case design more securely hold the device.
