Makes me powerful
User: Jason Trippet, Jun 4, 2009
Pros:
Way more battery life, Good holster with plenty of protection
Cons:
A little more weight and bulk to carry around
I have been using this for a couple weeks now and really love it. Its not for everyone, but if what you care about is a long-lasting battery this will do the trick.
Besides the obvious benefit of a lot more battery life, which by the way has me powering my Bold for a few days, is the fact the Fuel case is a great holster. It really clips in securely to the Bold and holds it in place tightly.
Great product

This is a great product, nearly doubles the battery life. The case is very light and slim, only slightly thicker than a regular case. I definitely recommend it...
Three uses, one great device!

Pros:
Everything, but...
Cons:
...the power button, slightly annoying
I received my Fuel case and immediately got excited. Im a bit forgetful when it comes to charging my BB, so I was really hoping this product would be my saving grace. After the initial charge, I began using it only to find the fuel case to actually be draining my phone battery. I called Crackberry and exchanged it for a new one. The exchange was easy and the customer support person was great! Turnaround was super fast.
I received my new fuel case and was a bit skeptical after the dud I just received. Well, I was ecstatic once I started using it. Easily doubles, sometimes triples my use of the Bold.
The fuel case works as three products: a holster, a charger and a battery extender.
The holster: fits snug, the material is soft so it doesnt chip away at the "chrome" on the bold. never fell out once.
A charger: This thing charges fast!! Like NASCAR fast! I put the phone into the case at about 20 battery life, and it was at 95 in about 15 minutes. Unfortunately, this also drained about 60 of the fuels battery reserve.
A battery extender: Without a doubt the best use for the Fuel. With a fully charged phone and a fully charged (and powered on) Fuel case working in tandem, you can easily extend the phones life by double the normal time you get from a charge without the case.
This is what I have found to be the best way to use the case. Put the phone in the case and charge them together. When you unplug, the case is automatically powered on (no annoying button to deal with). The cases reserve will last much longer this way. I have gone two full days of solid casual usage losing maybe only 5 of the phones battery life and about 70 of the Fuels life. Best part is that because you dont need to charge the phone, you still have plenty of battery life in the Fuel!

Customer Service bumps rating!
User: Emmanuel Padilla, Sep 29, 2009
Pros:
Incredible Battery life, Phone seating is excellent, customer service is exceptional
Cons:
durability leaves a bit to be desired
I had my first one for less that two months and the belt clip and the retainer clip both broke off. I contacted customer service and informed them of the issue and they immediately sent me a new one with return shipping on the broken one. One of the fastest and easiest customer service departments to work with in a long time.
Im hoping that my second case holds up better than the original.
Not so bad
User: Scott G, Jun 27, 2009
Pros:
Great battery extension, not bulky
Cons:
Not so sturdy
Love it - I use my Bold for 90 of my work throughout the day and regularly I would be in the red for battery life by 2 p.m. With the fuel it is no longer a problem, the life easily gets me into the late night hours.
Hate it - One major issue I had was that the "clip" portion broke way to easily. I do put my holsters through alot but I never had one break. While sitting in an airplane seat I looked down and it was broken. I could have lost the whole phone in other circumstances. For 80 bucks I would expect more, now I have gorilla glue holding it togethen and no longer have the swivel function.
Eh.. - If you use your phone as a night stand or desk clock you will need a second charger which is not too cool for extended traveling.
