Review: Case-Mate POP! Case for BlackBerry Bold 9930 and Bold 9900

The Case-Mate POP! case for the BlackBerry Bold 9930 and 9900 has quickly won me over as an awesome accessory for day to day use. It has a really great feel to it and offers some good protection to keep your Bold 9930 or 9900 safe from the daily grind. With the POP! case on I wasn't worried about tossing my device on the table or afraid I'd drop it on the pavement getting out of my car. I feel that the POP! case will do a stellar job of protecting the device all around and it definitely makes a great alternative to other less impact-proof cases.

This is the best case I have ever used for any phone. It has both rubbery grip and hard shell and the fit is perfect - getting it on or off is no hassle. The screen is protected by a slight recess and all of the ports are free. The buttons make it easier to press and thats a plus for me. Get a screen protector and youre good to go.

Great case! Im so glad I found this website online. Its general neutral, not too feminine or masculine. The case has a rubberized finish on the sides and slightly to the back so it feels sdafe in your hand and gives some grip! Would definitely recommend this product!

Pros:  Case is slim, light, easy to put on and take off, protects all that needs protecting, and looks sporty.
Cons:  The black polished portion of the case scratches tremendously easily, but better the case than the phone.

However, the black polished portion of the case scratches tremendously easily, but better the case than the phone. All is all, I am very pleased and would buy again.

Since I got my 9930 Ive went a bit crazy with cases. When this case was finally made available I jumped right on it. I knew I liked the type of case since its the same kind I use for my PlayBook, but wasnt sure how it would be for my phone. Its Great! Way more protection than the BlackBerry hard shell case I was previously using, and nowhere near as bulky as an Otterbox commuter or defender. Another benefit this and all POP cases have is you dont have to worry about scratching your screen up while on a flat surface since the rubber @ the top & bottom stick out just enough to keep the front of your phone elevated off the surface. While keeping your phone protected it still shows off the the stainless bezel on the 9930 which is a huge plus for me. So if you want to keep your new Bold safe while still enjoying the look of it buy one of these today!

Good sturdy case, but makes an otherwise thin and light phone much thicker and heavier. While I felt much safer with the case on the phone, I have taken the case off since it somewhat negates the purpose of having a light and thin phone. Other cases may have the same effect - Ive only tried this one, so it is my only data point
