Pros: small, syncs to gps fast, lasts for hours
Cons: see below
First, crackberry shipped this thing and had a tracking number within 5 minutes of me placing my order. Fast! The software I ordered came in seperate emails without me having to do a blessed thing. Definitely a good experience with them.

This little keychain syncs up indoors pretty fast, often within 10 seconds or less of powering it on. I was a little bothered that google maps said my location was within 20M when my friends 8310 usually says within 3M (but not always), but from what i can tell its almost always on the more accurate side of that within rating as google maps places me squarely on the road im travelling down and turns are generally pretty close. It also has me on the correct side of the creek behind my house.

The 2000 even gets and retains a good signal in the center console of my car. I can toss it in there with my CDs and a car charger and its out of sight. Its worked pretty much everyplace Ive used it accept the elevator (which I didnt count on).

While itd be nice if it said it was more accurate, the accuracy of this little keychain unit seems to be really close. My biggest complaint is having to pair it everytime I want to use it. My Plantronics 665 headset automatically pairs whenever I turn it on and it sees my phone. Or the bluetooth options menu lets me manually connect to the 665, but there is no connect option with the Keychain 2000. Pretty minor, all things considered.
Work Great!

Granted, Ive only had it for 24 hours. The GPS is working fantastically. I did try both Google Maps and BlackBerry Maps. They are ok but have no audio. Theres a 3rd option, for free GPS software, NAV4ALL, www.nav4all.com. This one has audio & pictures. It would remind you of TomTom. It will run on Verizon. I believe its German made but they do support the US. You could d/l it, you just wouldnt be able to use it until you get an external Bluetooth GPS receiver. The only downside I ever saw w/the Verizon GPS software was it was always about 50 ft off target. You would get to the destination and it would always tell you that you had about another 50 ft to go. With these 3 software, and maybe its the GPS receiver, Im right on the money.
