Great Device, 2 Quirks
User: Matt Thorne, Sep 3, 2008
Pros: Compact, Good Battery Life
Cons: ? Key, Connectivity (Possible OS 4.5 Beta Issue), Structural Support
Ive been using this keyboard to take notes in class over the last few weeks and I really enjoy not having to take my laptop to class anymore. The keyboard is great on its two AAA batteries and using the bluetooth connection does use some battery life but nothing significant on my BlackBerry 8330.

The only issues I have with the device is that even when paired, when I turn the keyboard on I have to go into the Keyboard application and check the "Activate Keyboard" check box. I prefer to close all of my programs when Im not using them so by leaving the "Activate Keyboard" box unchecked, it shuts the program down while Im not using the keyboard. The auto-connection isnt reliable in my experience, but I am running OS 4.5.0.77 and it could possibly be a glitch with the OS as the driver and control panel are made for OS 4.2.

My other issue is the ? mark key is swapped with the shift key which can be annoying, but as the days go by Im getting used to it.

Overall I love the convenience of the keyboard/BlackBerry combo rather than lugging around a laptop and AC charger for the day.
Great Accessory!
User: Chris C, Apr 12, 2009
Pros: Ease of use, OTA Driver DL
Cons: Weird "?" placement
Reading the other reviews, I was a bit scared to buy this...but I took the plunge anyways and all I can say is that Im glad I did!

Ive had absolutely no connectivity issues with this device on my Storm. There is a very slight delay when typing, but it is easy to get used to.

The only con is that they placed the question mark on the wrong side of the left shift key...I have no idea what the reasoning on that was!
Keyboard and the BB Storm a perfect match
User: Chris Fox, Feb 22, 2009
Pros: works great
Cons: set-up is a little funky and hit or miss
Workes great with my curve and now works well with my Storm. Very compact.

User: Joseph Ciampi, Oct 20, 2009
Pros: Battery life, Ease of use, Connection
Cons: ? button placement, repeat rate/delay settings
Have been using this for almost 8 months now on my Storm. Have had no major issues. At first i couldnt get it to connect to my BB, but i just went to the "troubleshooting" section and did the one thing it had listed and it paired immediately. Now it pairs fine everytime on the first try. No issues, i dont think the low rating reviewers tried this or they would have been fine. Dont be scared by their reviews, honest.

Gets amazing battery life, only changed batteries once since i got it and i have it paired for 8 hours a night every night, using it for like 3-5 hours of typing. Slight lag sometimes when typing, but always catches up fast.

My only gripes are the placement of the ? key. Odd spot. And the repeat rate setting and delay setting. I had the keyboard freak out on me at first thinking i hit any key like 90 times. If you hit Shift backspace it would try to delete my contacts in IM+, and the keyboard would keep hitting ok, though i was pushing No on the screen. Had to turn off keyboard and set Repeat Rate to 1 and Repeat Delay to 100. Been fine ever since. Just dont change those settings from there. Can still type wicked fast. I love it. Makes typing on a Storm a true breeze.

Overall great keyboard and well worth its price. I couldnt part with this if i tried. So dont be scared of low reviews, no offense to them but i dont think they knew what they were doing.
