It works great in the car, and pivots to enable the front seat passenger to load the right videos for the kids, without being awkward. I also leave the plastic back on the playbook when not travelling as I find the stand works well, and provides additional protection, even if it does make the device bulkier.

I love the mount kit, because it also works with my another mount kit i have for my torch and when my girlfriend is in the car i just switch it so she can watch movies
