BlackBerry Jabra Cruiser II Bluetooth Car Kit Speakerphone

Product Description

The Jabra CRUISER2 Bluetooth in-car speakerphone makes hands-free in-car calls even easier. To start with, its voice gives you simple pairing instructions the first time you turn it on. After that you just put it on your sun-visor and it will connect automatically with your mobile every time. It will also synchronize with your phonebook.

The Jabra CRUISER2 will then say the names of the contacts in your phonebook when they call. And when you answer, Noise Blackout technology and a dual microphone system ensure the conversation always sounds just right. The Jabra CRUISER2 looks right in any car and its carefully positioned buttons make it exceptionally easy to operate.

You won’t run out of charge because its voice will tell you when it needs more power. It is also equipped with an FM Transmitter and A2DP, which allow you to stream your music from your phone to the car stereo. With the Jabra CRUISER2 you stay in control of the conversation without taking your hands off the wheel.

  • Superior sound for hands-free calls in the car
  • Multiuse™ - connect to 2 Bluetooth® devices simultaneously
  • Voice Guidance – Caller ID, battery status, set-up and more
  • Dual microphone technology for excellent sound
  • No installation needed – just clip it onto the sun visor
  • Connect it to your car radio with the FM transmitter and transmit your music and calls to your car stereo (A2DP)
  • Up to 14 hours talk time and up to 20 days standby time

CrackBerry Expert Review

Review: Jabra Cruiser 2 Bluetooth Car Kit Speakerphone
Reviewed by Obi
I have been using a Jabra SP700 for a few years now, and figured it was time to pick up a new one. When it comes to bluetooth I have always been a big fan of Jabra. Their products are always high quality, long lasting, and have never let me down. So while browsing I came across the Jabra Cruiser 2, and immediately loved the look. Upon receiving the device, I was immediately impressed with the hardware. Very solid build quality, and dedicated buttons for send/end, mute, volume up/down, and the ever important (to me anyways) on/off switch.

All in all, the Jabra Cruiser 2 Bluetooth Car Kit Speakerphone is the best device of its kind that I have ever used. It is packed full of features that you would hope to find in any bluetooth/speakerhone device. In fact, I don't know if there are even any features that are "missing" or that I could think of wanting added to the device.

Pros: Sounds great
Cons: Buttons
Had a Cruiser 1 and loved it till one day the FM transmitter became very static. Jabra on line help was no help at all. The only thing they kept telling me was to try repairing it. I had lost my receipt so I could not return it (lesson learned). I loved it so much I was willing to just buy a new one. Right before I did I noticed that Jabra was coming out with the Cruiser 2 so I decided to wait thinking that if I loved C1 so much I should really love C2. WRONG! Waited over a month for it to come out and get one. The biggest thing I loved about C1 was playing my media over the FM transmitter through my car speakers. I was shocked to find out that Jabra remover the media player buttons. Jabra removed what I felt was a safety feature. I now have to control media player by LOOKING at my Storm 2 and trying to drive. I may as well send some text messages while I’m at it. BAD DECISION JABRA! How can you take a device that was so great (Cruiser 1) remove features and call it Cruiser 2? Maybe you should call it “Cruiser Lite” or “Cruiser Downgrade”. I would think a newer model would add some new features not remove some. Another thing is the power button is so small it’s hard to find and the FM transmitter button is so hard to push that I have to use both hands to push it, one to hold unit and the other to push button, REAL SAFE while driving. VERY DISAPOINTED!
