As it is stated the A/c adapter doesnt charge the phone...guess I should have read more carefully :/ Not an easy use item. Plug in the A/C adapter AND USB cable to charge phone and battery and the same time. Seems like too much work! Is too much work for a cradle...get the sync pod and forget the spare battery!

Pros:  Inexpensive
Cons:  Not a true cradle (must plug cable to BB) base barely holds BB

I should have looked at the pictures of this "cradle" more closely before purchasing, as it requires that you connect a short coiled USB cable that protrudes out the left side of cradle into the Blackberry PDA. I was expecting a more traditional cradle that you just snap the BB into and the electrical connection would me made for you. The cradle is too light, needing a heavier base to be secure. Also, forget about using your phone while its inserted in the so-called cradle, its much too flimsy :(

Im returning the two of these cradles I purchased. Hopefully some vendor will come out with a more rugged and better designed cradle that can also charge a spare battery...
