CrackBerry Expert Review

Motorola S9-HD Stereo Bluetooth Headset
Reviewed by Ryan Blundell
I've found my perfect wired headset to listen with, but wires aren't always a viable solution. On my desk, with my wireless keyboard and mouse, there's not a wire to be seen, and I would prefer to keep it that way.

If you dig through CrackBerry Bluetooth reviews, you'll find a review for the Motorola S9 from way back. They were beautifully designed and performed well. Improving upon near perfection, Motorola also offers amazing audio delight with their MotoRokr S9-HD (yes folks, high definition) Stereo Bluetooth headset.

Equally beautiful in design and function, it was literally music to my ears. If you are out for a run, make sure you are extra alert as you may find yourself lost in the sound. The fit and feel will please most, as will the ease of use. The rubberized coverings should help protect against liquid damage, but it's not water tight.

StarStarStarStarStar Just the Best

Pros:  Light, loud, clear, long battery
Cons:  None yet

I have had several sets of wired head phones to listen to music and calls on my 8530 curve. I found these and i gotta tell you, wires are definatly a thinkg of the past. they are just awesome. I know I sound like a kid here but I am a 47 year old kid that loves to listen to music. While riding my lawn mower through the yard I get loud clear music barely hear the mower and I never miss a call. I do not use these while driving the car as it blocks out to much out side noise but these are a must have. great bass great mid range. highly recommend

StarStarStarStarStar good but problematic
User: Mark M, Jan 5, 2010

Pros:  Handy, easy to use, and good for working out
Cons:  earbuds fall off, and loses signal

The earphones overall are fantastic. They sound great, connect to my bluetooth easily enough and allow for me to workout without any issue. In fact, they are probably the best headset I have ever owned. My blackberry works beautifully with these and I am the envy of all my friends.

However, there are a few minor things I would like to see improved. Outside of the problem with line of sight which is easy to manage, I found myself losing the earbuds as they fall off rather easily. Although they are easy to replace, for what I paid for the headset I should not be experiencing this.

Besides that, for wireless headsets to train, ride, or use casually there is no equal as long as LOS is not an issue to you.
StarStarStarStarStar Awesome!
User: Mike Ellinas, Nov 1, 2009

Pros:  Freedom, sound quality, ease of use, everything
Cons:  not good for outdoor use, but i bought exclusively for indoors

Used them at the gym today and they are awesome. I was able to set my phone down and roam the gym wirelessly. Furthermore, the fit is great and the sound quality was amazing. Very happy with these.

They do cut in and out when outdoors, but I dont want to use them outside so it didnt bother me one bit

Pros:  Love it
Cons:  Dont walk too far away

This thing is awesome. I do ungodly amounts of cardio at home and at the gym. I love how easily it pairs to anything Bluetooth. I use it with my ipod in the gym and then when I get in the car it pairs with my phone instantly. This is the first "gadget" that has worked for me the way it was supposed to in forever....great find.
