Ive wanted a Blackberry since I was 18 years old. So when I finally bought one after a decade I did the research to find a case that would keep my addiction safe-enter the OtterBox. Not only did it keep my BB safe during one of my usual trip and fall sessions, but as I have the yellow/black one, it also gets people talking about it. I do not find that my ability to use the phone is in any way hindered by the case and while it is bulkier it is not unmanageable at all. It is also easier to remove and replace than I expected - good for battery pulls. If youre going to invest your life in something, it only makes sense to protect it right.

Ok, so since I saw this case originally, I wanted to get it for my 8830WE. When I had the extra cash, its the first thing that I ordered, even put aside the games I wanted (Im in meetings A LOT and get BORED...work for the government, what can I say!). So I got it delivered to work and put it on, even without the recommended directions just to see how it worked. It worked great. Lived up to everything that it says it will do, even the dropping down stairs. Just had to test it cause well, thats what I do. The blowing sand and slight rain didnt affect it at all, not that I purposely put it in the rain, just happened to rain where I was that day. Now, Im even thinking about buying another for the 8830 that I have gotten issued from work just because Im tired of getting yelled at for dropping it, scratches, and the fact that I was told that Ill have to pay for it if I drop it and it breaks again! (Ive gone through 4 due to dropping that were issued from work). Im actually looking at trying to get my job to purchase one of these cases for all of the 60 8830s that I manage as the Blackberry Guru!
Last words, GET IT, WELL WORTH THE MONEY!

As abusive as Iam to Blackberrys, I have finally found my case. This is what Ive been waiting on for quite some time. Otter Box nailed it for me.

Pros:
Excellent protection for my 8830. Easy to use. Superior protection.
Cons:
Could use a little cleaning solution to aid in the aplication of the lens overlay, but eye glasses cleaner works fine.
Excellent product! Couldnt be more happy with my purchase...recommended it to my friend for his Pearl and to my sister for her IPhone. This is a must buy!

So I floated down a river with some friends on innertubes and we had all of our phones and valuables in a waterproof bag, but the seal broke and all our stuff got wet. My blackberry was the only phone undamaged, only because of my otterbox case. ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!!
