Cons: Can be difficult to insert phone
Since I use this mostly for providing easy syncing to my computer, i dont remove it often. I havent had any problem with charging, probably because I connect straight to my desktop. Most hubs dont have the ability to charge my phone directly but charging directly from the motherboard usually works. Syncing is fast and uncomplicated.

Just an FYI: you can use a black permanent marker to black out the LED if it bothers you.
Or, just black out a small portion of it!
Will it work with an OTTER BOX DEFENDER case??

Pros: works perfectly with Seidios innocase
Cons: Green LED - way too bright (for me)
I purchased two of these - one for the bedside, the other to use with the PC.
The cradle is sturdy and has a nice build feel to it. Most importantly, if you have the Seidios innocase, it will work perfectly with that. To the best of my knowledge, no other cradle offers this capability.
I wanted to take off one star because the green LED light is way too bright for a dark room but Ill chalk that up to personal preferences. It bothers me but may no bother someone else.

Works well even with case/skin

Purchased this one because the RIM unit doesnt work with a case or skin. I use the Seidio Innocase II but it should also work for other similar cases or skins as the fit is "loose" enough to have some flexibility but "snug" enough to support the device well and secure enough to "type" on it while in the cradle. I actually have two of these, one at the office and one at home. Well worth the money...
