Ive had this battery about 2 weeks now and its awesome. First off the fit is super tight and completely flush with the unit. Seidio really knows what they are doing and you can tell by the way this thing fits, it looks stock. Actually the rubberized finish looks and feels way better than stock and actually complements the phone. Personally I think it adds just the right amount of grip and style, without too much bulk... feels way better in the hand and im not dropping it all the time anymore. Great for daily use, it saves from having to charge constantly.

Sure its probably not going to fit your old cases, but do this: Ive stretched out the OEM pouch to fit by stuffing a pack of cigarettes in it for a couple days. The sleeper function still works great and now the fit is perfect. No complaints. Thanks for a great product!!

Great Battery, Expensive Price/Odd Fit

Pros: As advertised battery life or better, comes with modified back plate

Unfortunately this battery is huge - they attempt to modify and trim the back plate, which is actually done fairly well, but still creates an awkwardly bulky BB.

The battery is also expensive - coming in at one of the top prices Ive paid for my BB batteries but the battery life is fantastic.

Im a moderately heavy BB business user and after a full nights charge I have been on battery with all wireless radios (wifi, bluetooth, etc) on and after four days I still havent completely used a full bar of battery.

Ultimately I would recommend this upgrade considering I can travel on a four or five day business trip and not worry about bringing a BB charger at all

Cover Latch Broke

Battery lasts a lot longer but the flimsy cover latch broke in the first week. I have been using it for the last ten months held together by one of those rubber skins.

I have noticed zero difference in this batterys life compared to the standard battery that came with my Curve 8900. The only difference is the gigantic back of my BB now. Wasted $70
