Great power, so so cover

Waited for this to actually be in stock before ordering. When it arrived, I took my cover and stock battery cover off. Then installed the battery and looked at the change on thickness before I replaced with the new cover. Looking at the cover it is nice, matte black, soft touch (feel) with the SEIDIO label near the latch. I checked the battery level and it was at 50 from the status page. The only real issue I have is with the fit of the cover at the bottom, below the latch or button where you move it to open the cover. The cover can shift slightly sideways which if not centered makes it feel and look out of place when you look closely. It also has a small gap that you can see a little but you do feel the gap "close" when you change the hold on it with your hand. I know it is hard to explain but it is not terrible but it is noticeable.
Now a good thing or two about compatibility. It works perfectly with the BB Charging pod for the Tour. The Tour drops into the pod as usual and has no problem making the connection to the charging contacts. The other great thing is for those of us using the stock holster that came with the phone. Even though it is a little more snug that stock, it still fits without issue, the device goes into holster mode without issue and the top strap on the holster still fits into place with the magnet holding it as well.
I rated it 4 out of 5 only because of the little issues with the cover fitment. If I could have given 4.5 or 4.75 I would have.
Gotta love double the power and battery life!

I got my extended battery for my tour its perfect!!!!!! except on the battery door where you pull to remove battery cover its kinda got a gap and plastic instead of chrome kinda cheezy.But the battery life is amazing i can go 2 days without a charge..(connected to bluetooth headset and i talk like 4000 minutes a month)highly recommended. IT CHARGES PERFECT WITH MY CHARGING POD which was a big highlight when i was considering purchase

Great battery - after upgrading from the Curve to the Tour, I was anxiously awaiting the extended battery for the Tour to become available!
I read reviews stating that the phone would fit into the charging pod - I have two charging pods, and the phone does NOT fit/charge in either unless I remove the back cover. It appears as though the plastic on the new back cover is just slightly raised around the metal contacts on the phone, preventing it from charging.

A heck of a lot better than the stock battery but still not good enough for a heavy user. I went from not a full day, with the standard battery, to a maximum of almost two days with this battery.
Yes I know, a 100 gain is good (and well worth the price) but with my previous phone (Voyager) I could get almost a week from a 1600mah battery (given it has less "ummmmph" than the BB). I would think a 2600mah for the BB should last nearly a week anyway. Maybe Im too picky -)
DEFINATELY worth the money if you cant stand the OEM battery!! Ill keep using it until something better comes along.
Battery Tour extended life

My Blackberry Tour with the new extended battery and back door does not charge in BB charging pod without removing the back door first. I read an earlier review which said it did work and I purchased based on that information. Kinda dissapointed! Is it just my charging pod??
