Star Star Star Star Star If it only fit the whole screen
User: Seth R, May 5, 2015
Pros: Glass, Seidio, swiping still as sensitive
Cons: Doesnt fit the whole screen, gaps to collect dirt, sucks for the price
For what this costs, in comparison to others, you would expect it to fit the Passport--TOTALLY.

After having put a TechArmor glass protector on an iCHPhone 5 for someone, I know what perfect fitment means. THIS is not it.

The ideal way to apply glass protectors is to butt them down to he top fret on the keyboard. This gives you a perfect up-swipe. But not with this one!! If you do that, the top of the glass intersects the front-facing camera.

So, off you go, put it butted up to the top case edge. It covers the camera which is kind of a good thing.

It does NOT FIT from side to side either!! What you are basically covering is the VIEWABLE part of the screen. The black areas of the side and bottom of the screen are NOT covered.

HEY, SEIDIO!! Those areas are glass too. They damage too. They get dirty too. Now you made them harder to clean.

Since this glass has the same specs as other brands (3.3mm, 9H, 2.5D edges, etc.), you can buy one of those and get a poor fit for only $11.99!!

Too bad. I trusted he Seidio name because of their cases.

Pros: Great idea, no bubbles
Cons: the edges dont stick, looks ugly
There is a basic instruction set on the back of the box, but there are great videos on Youtube. Once you clean the surface, just peel the back protection film off.
After you apply it does the job itself and adheres to the surface without bubbles.
Next you just remove the front protection film and voila!
Here comes the catch: there is no front protection film on the actual product, only on the instructions. There is certainly no sticky handle.
So when the edges did not stick and left a 2 mm non sticking ugly line all around the protector edge, I thought I should try to separate that front film somehow from the glass but there wasnt any and I just made the non-sticking part uglier.

I have used dozens of protectors in the past and used tempered glass from other providers on my familys phones. This one was just too expensive not to work.

BTW the little bonus hyperlink in the box that offers you an Uber credit is and expired webpage, dont even bother using it.
Very frustrating - I always had great experience with Seidio in the past, but I will just go back to a plain screen protector for my Passport
