If you receive a call while wearing the ear buds, the music will be interrupted and you can hear the ring tone through both earpieces (no sound from your Smartphone's speaker) as long as the ringer on the BlackBerry Curve 8900 is switched to off. Good, but could be better

Pros: keeps out external noise
Cons: can get loud, speaker rubs against shirt

These work the way that they are supposed to. Very little external noise due to the fact that they are in-ear. The phone speaker tends to rub up against my shirt and can produce noise.
